Help us work on campaigns at all levels of government, increase political activity on campus, bring in great speakers, and promote the important goals of the Democratic Party. Officially recognized in 1993, our chapter of Gettysburg College Democrats has spent nearly 25 years working on local, state, and national elections, spreading political awareness on campus, and promoting the core ideals of

the Democratic Party and all that it stands for. Now, in a time when Democrats must fight harder than ever before, we are excited to work hard on upcoming campaigns, bring important speakers to campus, and register as many voters as we can to turn Pennsylvania blue again!

It’s Election Day! The polls are open in Gettysburg from 7am-8pm. Make sure you bring an ID with you, such as a driver’s license or college ID card. Happy voting!

Election Day is ONE WEEK from today. Make sure you have a voting plan!

PA voters: today is the LAST day to request a mail-in or absentee ballot! If you are mailing in your ballot, it must be postmarked by 8pm on November 3rd and received by your county election office by 5pm on November 6th to be counted. If you are delivering your mail-in ballot in person, it must be received by your local county election office or other designated location by 8pm on November 3rd.

Today marks 155 years since federal orders were announced in Galveston, Texas which emancipated the last group of enslaved people in America. Today is a day to celebrate Black freedom, but also to recognize the steps that still must be taken in order to achieve full racial justice and equality.

Join us for a virtual phone bank to talk with voters in Adams County about electing Pennsylvania Democrats up and down the ballot! The most effective way for us to reach voters right now is through phone calls, and we need you to help us get the word out to make sure Democrats can have their voices....
