Gettysburg celebrated its 10th annual Pride festival this weekend. Many thanks to the newly constituted board of Gettysburg Pride and countless volunteers who made this community event a success. Mayor Alison Lintal and the Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania represented by the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs issued proclamations declaring June 2026 as Pride Month. Gettysburg is committed to being an inclusive community that celebrates the history, contributions, and accomplishments of all. In 2020 the Gettysburg Borough Council unanimously passed a non-discrimination ordinance which protects residents from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations.

Check out their upcoming film festival on Celebrating Stories and Championing Inclusion in Community at the Gateway on September 19.
