I'd like to invite you all to join us for a great discussion of the Civil War veterans' internment event last year that will be hosted Friday by the Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center. Dr Brian Jordan and I will join Codie Eash to tell the story of this truly historic event that took place here in Seattle last summer. It takes place via Zoom and 6:30 eastern (3:30 pacific) I hope you can join us!

Hi friends, next Friday Nov. 21st, I will be joining Dr Brian Jordan and Codie Eash for History Happy Hour at the Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center to discuss the historic Missing in America Project - Washington State Civil War Veterans internment that took place here in Seattle last year. This is the poignant monument at the gravesite of Hugo and Leonie Van Woerden at Seattle's historic Lake View cemetery. The young siblings tragically died at the ages of 4 and 5 respectively. The two passed away only 6 days apart in the summer of 1909, both victims of scarlet fever.
