The Germantown Police Department is a professional, progressive law
enforcement organization committed to serving the citizens of Germantown,
Tennessee. Our police department is organized into four divisions: Police Services,
Uniform Patrol, Investigations and Communications. We currently number more than
100 officers and approximately 25 public safety dispatchers. The Germantown Police
Department

has earned accreditation through the Tennessee Law Enforcement
Accreditation Program, a program created and managed by the Tennessee Association
of Chiefs of Police.

Members of the Germantown Police Department command staff attended the annual Public Safety Partners Lunch Wednesday at St. George’s Independent School. The event included leadership from the Germantown Fire Department, Collierville Police Department, Collierville Fire Department, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Discussions focused on introducing new school leadership, reviewing emergency response protocols, and preparing for upcoming safety readiness drills on campus.
