The Friends of the Germantown Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to:

Foster closer relations between the Library and the residents of the Valley View Local School District

Promote knowledge of the functions, resources, services and needs of the Library

Support and cooperate with the Library in developing library services in the community

Enable the Library to enhance service

s, expand programs and add new dimensions that maximize the Library's role and usefulness in the community

Heighten public awareness of the Library

Assist in the identification of community needs

Encourage, solicit and receive gifts and bequests from corporations, businesses, community organizations and private citizens

The Germantown Library will close to the public until March 28th. We take seriously the health of our patrons and staff. While this closing is an inconvenience, we believe it is important for staff and patron safety and is in keeping with the recommendations of state health officials.

No late fees will accrue during this time.

Your holds will be waiting for you upon reopening.

Although you will not incur late fees, we encourage you to return items in our drop box located on the west wall of the building – easily accessible in our parking lot.

We will keep you informed on Facebook and our website as to any changes or services we will offer moving forward.
