Could you be a Friend of the Library?

We’re exploring the idea of starting a Friends of the Germantown Public Library group—and we’d love to hear from you! Friends groups bring community members together to support their local library through volunteering, fundraising, advocacy and special events.

We’re hosting a Community Interest Meeting for anyone who might be interested in helping us get started, joining the group, or simply learning more. Come share your ideas and help us imagine what a Friends group could look like for our communities.

Germantown Public Library is currently hiring for a Janitorial Technician. Cleaning, trash and light maintenance will be needed M-F, 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. Additional hours may be needed as projects arise. Auditor's Community Town Hall on the 2026 Property Reappraisal: Understanding Your New Property Value

Date: Thursday, August 20th
Time: 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Location: Community Room, Germantown Public Library

In 2026, the Montgomery County Auditor's Office is required by Ohio law to conduct a full reappraisal of property values. Values are adjusted based on individual property characteristics and recent property sales. Stop by Wright Library to learn how values are determined and what to do if you disagree with the proposed value.
