Germantown is so lucky to have such willing people jump in and help their neighbors, friends and strangers, not with just helping hands but with full hearts as well! Volunteers from all over came to help people in need!

The Village Has Safely Weathered the Storm

The Village of Germantown is grateful to report that our community has safely come through last night's storm. At this time, no known injuries are to report. We are very lucky!! I can say I witnessed Germantown at its finest, again! Our Fire Department, Village Public Works, Police Department, friends, neighbors came out to help everyone! Our volunteers have been outstanding. From clearing debris to checking on neighbors, their quick action made a huge impact! Germantown is at its best when we look out for one another, and this storm proved that again.

Public Works personnel are continuing to check roads, utilities, etc. If you see damage, blocked roads, or safety hazards, please avoid these areas. Volunteers are welcome! Utilities to the storm areas may take days to be repaired. Please avoid the areas you see trucks working.
