VOTE YES ON AMENDMENT 6!
Last night brought some incredible news: Amendment 6—the Respect Missouri Voters initiative—has officially been certified for Missouri’s November ballot.
For 118 years, Missouri citizens have had the constitutional right to petition their government and take important issues directly to the voters. That right matters, especially when elected officials refuse to listen.
Amendment 6 would protect our voice by:
✅ Requiring ballot summaries to be clear, fair, unbiased, accurate, and understandable.
✅ Protecting Missouri’s initiative and referendum process.
✅ Requiring approval from at least 80% of both chambers of the legislature before politicians can send changes to voter-approved laws back to the ballot.
I proudly support Amendment 6.
Traveling across Senate District 26, I talk with Republicans, Democrats, independents, and people who don’t identify with any political party. One frustration comes up again and again: Missourians are tired of politicians treating our votes as suggestions.
When the people of Missouri approve something at the ballot box, lawmakers should respect that decision—not look for ways to weaken it, rewrite it, or overturn it.
Government belongs to the people. I’m running for the Missouri Senate because our district deserves a senator who will listen to the people, respect their decisions, and defend their voice.
This November, vote YES on Amendment 6—and let’s elect leaders who will finally respect the vote.
