Georgetown Kentucky Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association The Georgetown Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (GCPAAA)l This organization is completely voluntary.

The goal of this organization is to promote the professional development of information and instruction throughout the community, while providing assistance to the Georgetown Police Department and Citizens involved or interested in the Citizen Police Academy. A volunteer can be one of the best advocates, spokespersons, or assets an organization can have.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on an individual for multiple traffic violations and observed suspected co***ne in plain view inside the vehicle. During the stop, nearly 50 individually packaged bags of suspected co***ne were located.

The case also led to a search warrant at a residence in Lexington, where suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine were recovered. The male has since been indicted by the Scott County Grand Jury on multiple felony charges related to narcotics trafficking and possession.

The Georgetown Police Department remains committed to removing dangerous drugs from our community while also supporting those seeking help for addiction.

This free program is open to ages 13–17 and offers a hands-on, behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement β€” from traffic stops and investigations to K9 demonstrations and more. It’s an experience they won’t forget!
