It's okay to not be okay.
It's okay to need someone to talk to.
It's okay to reach out before things get serious.
It's okay to not have the words — they'll help you find them.
Reaching out isn't a sign that something is wrong with you. It's a sign that you're paying attention to yourself.

June is PTSD Awareness Month.

PTSD is not experienced the same way by everyone.

For some,
it may be PTSD.

For others,
it may be Complex PTSD,
Dissociative PTSD,
or Delayed-Onset PTSD.

Some experiences stay with us
long after they happen.

Some days can feel heavier than others.

Certain situations,
places,
sounds,
or memories
can bring back emotions
that are difficult to put into words.

And while life continues moving forward,
many are still doing their best
to navigate experiences
that continue to stay with them.

Holding space for those living with PTSD
and the experiences
that often go unseen.
