In our 1st grade small group this week we are learning about the importance of being unique. They were all given 1 color to draw the outside with, and the students noticed how boring our world would be if everything was exactly the same. To finish out our lesson each student talked about what made them special and unique. It is always a good reminder that being your special self is all you have to be.

Thank you to the Georgetown Fire Department for coming out and presenting to our Purl Pumas. Our pumas learned the importance of fire safety, staying away from strangers, and who to call in an emergency. We love how involved our community is Georgetown, TX.
