If you live or work in Sussex County and dream of owning a safe, affordable home, we encourage you to learn more about our program. Habitat homeowners partner with us through homeownership education and preparation, sweat equity, and an affordable mortgage designed to help families build a strong foundation for the future.

The journey to homeownership takes dedication, perseverance, and a whole lot of hard work - and moments like this make every step worth it. 🏡💙

From completing sweat equity hours and homeownership education classes to working toward their goals month after month, our partner families invest so much in making their dream of homeownership a reality.

Seeing the joy on Evan and Haley's faces at their home blessing was a reminder of what this journey is all about. And their story became even more memorable when Evan got down on one knee and proposed at their home dedication ceremony! 💍✨

We're so proud of everything they've accomplished and honored to have been part of this chapter in their lives. Congratulations again to these two new Habitat homeowners - and to a very bright future ahead. 💙

Home Builders Blitz is a unique partnership between Habitat for Humanity and members of the building industry, bringing builders, suppliers, contractors, and volunteers together to construct homes in an incredibly short period of time - often just one week.

Yesterday, we were honored to receive a $25,000 gift in support of Sussex County Habitat for Humanity's mission to build safe, affordable housing for local families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today for the second annual Lokken Memorial Build. 💙

Jon Lokken served as a dedicated Sussex County Habitat for Humanity board member, an active volunteer on our build sites, and a passionate supporter of our mission. It means so much to see his family, friends, team members and clients of Dakota Wealth Management, and all those touched by his life come together each year to honor his legacy through service to others.

We’re grateful for a day filled with hard work, community, and remembrance, and for everyone who continues to carry Jon’s spirit forward through this mission.
