We were very pleasantly surprised today, as we drove down our driveway, entrance returning from my Therapy Session today at Tidelands Memorial Hospital and we came across a new fawn. As everyone knows, (Including the deer) we're known for feeding the deer and providing our property as a safe haven for all wildlife.

It's certainly azalea time here. We have over 150 Indica Azaleas that are well over 10 feet tall. We started planting different Azalea cultivars back in the late 1960's and we discovered the advantages of the Formosa Indica Azalea as well. Over the years we have found mixing colors and different Azalea cultivars do make for a colorful and interesting garden.

We have several much older Camellias named 'C.M. Hovey' a Japonica Camellia that always has beautiful blooms every year.

Here's a beautiful Camellia that originated from Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Having friends in the right places is always helpful and that's how we managed to acquire direct cuttings of the 'Julia Drayton' Japonica Camellia and of course, we now have several of them.

We still have some Camellias blooming, this Japonica is called 'Royal Velvet'. we had two plants originally and we attempted to move one to build our concrete driveway and it died. We're thinking about ordering three more to plant this spring in front of our house.
