The National Weather Service in Wilmington, NC is warning of another day of dangerous heat across Georgetown County today, Saturday, September 5, with a Heat Advisory in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM and heat index values of 105–110 degrees possible. An approaching cold front could bring a Level 2 of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms later today, with damaging winds, large hail, and localized flooding possible. Stay weather aware!
