📚 Happy New Book Tuesday!

This week in new books, we’re celebrating Pride Month!

⭐In Father Material (Hall), Luc and Oliver have been through it all, but as their friends begin reaching new milestones, advancing careers and having babies, they decide it's time to open their hearts to something new.
⭐The Disaster Gay Detective Agency (Rosen) is a punchy, hilarious mystery-thriller that follows a group of loveable and messy q***r twenty-somethings determined to solve a murder.
⭐Dreams in Which I’m Almost Human (Soyer) is a genre-defying memoir of disability, identity, and desire that fuses lyricism, myth, and medical truth to explore what it means to live and love a body defined by others.

📚 Happy New Book Tuesday!

In new releases this week, books and writing come to the forefront.

⭐Marilyn and Her Books (Crowther) showcases the Marilyn Monroe who, away from the spotlight of the Hollywood and the flashbulbs of the press, was a great reader and lover of books.
⭐Trudeau & Doonesbury: A Biography (Kendall) chronicles the life and work of Garry Trudeau, creator of the massively popular and influential cartoon Doonesbury, the first comic strip to win a Pulitzer Prize.
⭐ For middle-grade readers, The Chismosas Only Book Club (Kemp) is a heart-warming novel with illustrations about four friends and the magical bookstore that holds them together.

📚🌟 New Book Tuesday

Check out some animal-themed titles in new book releases this week:

➡In nonfiction, Black Fish intertwines personal memoir with practical fishing advice, as award-winning rapper Speech Debelle explores fishing as an allegory for navigating life's challenges and triumphs.
➡In middle-grade fiction, Roar (Bajaj) brings readers the gripping story of a boy whose eye-opening trip to a tiger sanctuary ignites his desire to join those who are roaring to protect the animals.
➡Also for middle-grade, Song of the Yellow Dragon (Low) tells the story of two kids racing to find magic that will save their kingdom – before they turn thirteen and forget that magic exists.
