Stephanie Dewinski from Su***de Prevention Services joined us at our last meeting to share information about the vital services they provide. As we wrap-up Mental Health Awareness month, we are reminded how important it is to take care of ourselves and others, and help is available when needed. We are proud supporters of this organization. We recently inducted our newest member, Greg Mucha, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Anderson Humane. Greg received his Kiwanis pin from Membership Chair, Rick Poulton, and Acting Club President, Rich Foster. Mayor Kevin Burns was on hand as special guest and program speaker.

Today we had the pleasure of hosting our signature Fun on the Farm event at Windy Acres, where we welcomed many Cal’s Angels families. It was beautiful day and we enjoyed seeing so many families enjoying the activities and apple treats we had available.

We were thrilled to have Anna and Megan from Cal’s Angels as guest speakers at our last meeting. As a thank you, we gifted them with a Kiwanis blanket that was sent to us from the Kiwanis Children’s Fund in appreciation of us meeting the 2019-20 President’s Challenge. We hope that this blanket goes on to provide comfort and warmth to a Cal’s Angels child who is fighting cancer.
