SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

The Geneva Town Board will hold a special meeting on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall, 3750 County Road 6, Geneva, NY 14456.

The purpose of the meeting is to hold a work session on the Tentative 2027 town budget and approve the Preliminary 2027 town budget. There will be a public hearing on the Preliminary 2027 town budget scheduled for a later date, most likely prior to the regular town board meeting of October 13, 2026. This special meeting is open to the public but public comment will not be taken.

Willing to help? Join us for the Fix-It Clinic and Free Stuff Day!

Town of Geneva is holding a Fix-It Clinic and Free Stuff Day on September 20th (Rain Date October 4th).

Fix-It Clinic is 9:00-12:00. Mark Venuti will appreciate any helpers, [email protected]

Free Stuff Day set up starts at 9:30. People drop off items from 10:00-12:00; and pick up from 12:00-2:00. Helpers will take care of leftover items at the end, approximately 2:00-3:00.

If you are able to help, anytime from 9:30am to 3:00pm, we would really appreciate your help. Snacks and lunch will be provided.

Some will be there all day, but that is not required. The most help is needed 10:00-12:00. There is a bathroom at the Transfer Station where we will be set up. Please bring your own refillable water bottle, sunscreen, hat, etc. We will be outside on the lawn at the Transfer Station. You might get a little dirty, closed toe shoes are a good idea, and you might want to wear work gloves depending on which jobs you do. We will also have reflective vests—but if you have one and/or a bright neon shirt that will be helpful too.
