Unfortunately the compost site in Geneva has turned into more than shrubs, grass clippings and branches with some folks abusing it by bringing in full grown trees. We will need to close the site if this continues. We are typically able to burn these small piles but now with trees pulled in we are not able to manage the burning. Please respect this space that we have available to us and if you have trees to take down you will need to get rid of them a different way.

It’s Spring/Summer Cleaning Day at Community Lutheran Church!

Join us on June 6 at 9:00 AM as we clean pews, freshen up cushions, and help spruce things up around the church. Many hands make light work, and it’s always a fun time of fellowship while caring for our church home together.

A reminder to Geneva Residents that there is an ordinance in place pertaining to grass, tall weeds etc. The City will consider enforcing this ordinance if we continue to receive complaints and unfortunately the cost to enforce will be the homeowners responsibility to pay. The old saying "knee high by the 4th of July" pertains to corn in a field not the grass or dandelions in your yard. Take pride in your home!

There are youth in Geneva who would love to make a few dollars and mow your yard.
