First thank you all for the suggestions, we have had many people reach out in attempt to find a location for this year. We are excited to announce that we have a location for a hot dog roast this year, a sort of "family reunion". On Saturday June 13th we will be at East Jordon Tourist Park. We have the pavilion reserved from 12p-4p for people to stop by and say hi and grab something to eat. Anyone is welcome to make camping reservations with them directly if you would like to stay longer. We are thankful to them to for providing us a place to gather and visit with our friends from land or sea. Please reach out and thank them for giving us this opportunity we are so grateful! Please share with your friends and and we hope many are able to join us.

We have been working closely with the State of Michigan and the Parks Division over the past several months to keep the tradition of our event going on Otsego Lake. They have been fantastic to work with, however due to construction delays we will be unable to host our event there this year, but we are on track to be there in 2027!!! We thank everyone involved in helping keep our tradition alive. While we prefer not to miss a year, we are hoping that someone reading this might have a suggestion for this year. While we cannot plan a full fly in in an unknown location we would really like to go back to the tradition that started the whole thing and invite our pilots to a hot dog roast. If anyone has any suggestions for a lake that we can set up a couple grills and a place to park a few planes let us know. We are hoping that we can keep the same dates for Saturday June 13th and give everyone a chance to come by and visit with each other. If you have any ideas please let us know. While we hope we can make something work this year we are so excited to know we have a home next year at the State Park on Otsego Lake.

It is with great sadness I share we received a letter from the Otsego County Parks and Recreation Commission that they are indefinitely suspending the hosting of our fly-in at the County Park. They state they would reconsider if we took out a $5,000,000 liability policy and paid them $100,000 for the use of the park. Unfortunately that is not something we can do. We will begin our search for a new location and hope we can find one. We will keep everyone posted with any updates.
