This weekend, we had the opportunity to celebrate a place that means a lot to us—our home rink, The Den, at the Otsego County Sportsplex —as it marked 30 years of serving our community.

For three decades, the Sportsplex has been more than just a rink. It’s been a true community hub for Northern Michigan—offering ice sports, youth hockey, figure skating, open skate, and so much more. Beyond the ice, it’s a place families gather year-round with amenities like a pool, playground, pickleball courts, tennis courts, and spaces that bring people together in every season.

It’s where athletes grow, friendships are built, and memories are made.
We’re proud to call it home.

The Northern Michigan Warhounds are committed to continuing to grow alongside this community and this facility. None of what we do would be possible without the incredible support from the Sportsplex staff, the board members, and everyone behind the scenes who keeps things running day in and day out.

Here’s to the past 30 years—and to building something even bigger together moving forward.
