We are currently finalizing our summer schedule and have several openings available. There are various ways in which you can contribute. You may choose to "Adopt a Friday," which entails managing all aspects of the day's activities. Alternatively, you could "Host a Meal," where we provide the menu and handle the shopping, and your team would be responsible for the cooking, setup, and cleanup. A third option is to "Donate Funds for a Meal," in which case we will manage all logistical aspects.

Available dates include:
July 10th, 24th, and 31st
August 7th, with a potential opening on the 14th
September 18th

Well folks, 20 years, WHEW! A lot of names and faces over those 20 years it all began with an idea and need. We joined forces initially with Salvation Army and Goodwill in addition to some caring people and grew to where we are today.

Service groups , local businesses, individuals and restaurants have stepped up to make us the success we are today. To the people we have met, had we not formed this adventure and people we have lost who became family to us, God bless you all.
We tip our hat to our leader/coordinator Tony who strangely came to us through an ad placed in Craig’s List, it was made very clear to him it was strictly a volunteer job (to which he agreed to). Having lost our key go-to person who had the task of making sure we had a meal Friday whether by volunteer group or by committee cooking. Although a few were skeptical, Tony, has been the driving force lining up meals every Friday night for the past 10 years even providing to go meals during a pandemic.
A huge thanks to each and everyone and every group who continue making our Community Meal what it is today. Those who come to clean-up we are grateful for each one of you.

And lastly, we could not have held even our first meal back in 2006 without the First Congregational UCC allowing the use of their kitchen and Fellowship Hall Friday nights. Located in the heart of Ga***rd it is easily accessible and visible to all.
We look forward to the next 20 and more.
