At GES our school family is like no other. We are so proud of Mrs. Brammer and her dedication to the students and staff of GES for the last 13 years. We are very excited for her next step in the PGSD as the assistant principal at Cherokee. Although, we have told her gators are far superior to panthers! Thank you, Mrs. Brammer. We are always cheering you on.

Mrs. Burrell has been such a blessing to our sweet school over the last several years. From greeting students every morning with a smile as they walk in, assisting students and teachers, and having the best crafts for every event- we have greatly appreciated her!

She starts a new chapter in education as a classroom teacher at SRA next year! We will miss her immensely, but she will be a blessing to our 5th and 6th grade gators! Congratulations, Mrs. Burrell!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

One of the Pascagoula-Gautier School District's most recent accomplishments is our transition to a fully online student registration process. This move allows families to complete registration more conveniently from home while helping the district improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication. Online registration also enables us to better plan for staffing, transportation, scheduling, and student services well in advance of the school year.

Registering your child on time is one of the most important steps you can take to ensure a smooth start to the school year. Early registration helps schools prepare class schedules, assign teachers, arrange transportation routes, and ensure that all necessary resources are in place before students arrive on the first day of school.

At this time, only 56% of our students have been registered for the upcoming school year. We appreciate the families who have already completed the process and encourage all others to do so as soon as registration reopens.

While registration is currently closed as we prepare for the next phase of enrollment, online registration will reopen on June 15, 2026, for new students to the district and for returning students who have not yet completed registration.

Please be aware that there will not be designated face to face registration days this year. All registration will be completed through the district's online registration system.

We understand that some families may need assistance navigating the online process. To support those families, the district is currently planning registration help days and assistance locations where staff will be available to provide technical support and answer questions. These sessions are designed to help families complete the online registration process and should not be confused with traditional face to face registration. Additional information regarding dates, times, and locations will be shared soon.

Staff dress down day on the last day of school? NOPE! We dressed like coach!! Coach G was the perfect addition to our staff a few years ago, but after 25 years in education he will be retiring and starting a new chapter. We are so thankful for all he has done for our district and school! From coaching athletic teams, bus driving (and managing), to PE educator at many levels- he is a jack of all trades! We will miss him for sure.

Monday was officially Mrs. Buckner day at GES. In true GES style we had a parade! For 29 years she has worked tirelessly to make sure ALL students are successful. Various roles, but one things was always true— she did what was best for students! We are so thankful for her four years at Gautier Elementary. She is definitely leaving our school a better place. We are all better educators because of her.

Please complete your online registration for the 2026-2027 school year. This will help your child start school without delays for the first day of school.

Registration will close at the end of the day on Monday, June 1, 2026. This is for all new incoming Kindergarten, new and returning students.

PLEASE NOTE - There will NOT be an in-person registration. All registration is done online through our ActiveParent Portal.

If you started a registration or had one returned, you can log in to your ActiveParent account to finish it.

The GES Choir ended the 25-26 school year with their Spring Concert this past Tuesday. We are so proud of all of the performances and hard work they have put in this year! Great job gators! 🐊

Last week kindergarten went bowling! Thank you to Spanish Trail Lanes for providing an amazing experience for our kindergarteners.
