🚨 MISSING PERSON – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

The Gautier Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Ariana King, age 18.

Ariana was last seen near Briargate Drive at approximately 1430 hours yesterday. She reportedly left to go to Family Dollar in Moss Point for work.

Description:
Ariana is a White female, approximately 5’3” and 110 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone with information regarding Ariana King’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gautier Police Department Dispatch at (228) 497-2486. If you see her or believe she may be in immediate danger, please call 911.

It is with profound sadness that the Gautier Police Department mourns the passing of Sergeant Tristen Nicholson.

Tristen served our department and community with dedication, generosity, and a willingness to go the extra mile for others. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his commitment to service, and the lasting impact he made on those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.

We extend our deepest condolences to Tristen’s family, friends, former colleagues, and all who knew and loved him. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT | OLD SPANISH ROAD LANE CLOSURE 🚧

Motorists are advised that Old Spanish Road will be reduced to one lane between Isle of Pine Housing Community and Jacks Road due to ongoing work in the area.

To help avoid delays, motorists are encouraged to use the following alternate route:
➡️ U.S. Highway 90
➡️ Travel via Shaw Drive to Suter Road to bypass the work zone.

Please use caution when traveling through the area, follow all posted traffic control devices, and allow extra travel time.

The City of Gautier is aware of the recurring train stoppages that periodically block the Ladnier Road railroad crossing. We understand the inconvenience these delays create for residents, businesses, and motorists traveling throughout our community.

"Our officers are actively documenting and reporting train stoppages whenever they occur," said Police Chief David Bever. "We encourage anyone who encounters a blocked crossing to report it through the Federal Railroad Administration's Blocked Crossing Incident Reporter. Every report helps provide valuable data that can assist in identifying patterns and advancing long-term solutions."

The Gautier Police Department will continue documenting and reporting train-related traffic disruptions, while the City actively works with the appropriate railroad and government partners to explore solutions that improve traffic flow and reduce the impact of these recurring delays.
