AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today announced that the waiver on expiration dates for driver licenses (DLs) and identification cards (IDs) ends on April 14, 2021. Texans will be able to use expiring state driver’s licenses and ID cards while the state is under the declaration of disaster for COVID-19, according to officials.
