Before we really get rolling on sign pickup, we’re taking a quick weekend trip to Oklahoma to watch my granddaughter play softball. After the pace of campaign season, I’m looking forward to spending a couple days just being “Papa” in the stands. 🥎
We have already started picking up signs around Gatesville, and we’ll continue making our way across Precinct 4 over the next couple of weeks. If your sign hasn’t been picked up already, please send the page a message with the address so we can cross reference our list and make sure we don’t miss any.
Thank y’all again for every sign placed, every prayer said, every share, and every word of encouragement along the way. Coryell County showed up in a big way, and I’m grateful for every bit of support.
But now that the election is over, I hope the involvement doesn’t stop here. The conversations, the questions, the showing up, the paying attention — that’s exactly what helped get all of us into office. An engaged community matters, and I truly believe Coryell County is stronger when people stay involved, stay informed, and continue using their voices even after election day is over.
This isn’t the end of something. It’s the beginning of getting to work together.

Tonight, I’m incredibly humbled and honored by the trust the people of Coryell County placed in me.

First and foremost — thank you. Thank you to every person who prayed for us, supported us, encouraged us, volunteered, shared posts, put out signs, and most importantly… took the time to vote.

This campaign was never about one person. It was about the future of Coryell County and the kind of leadership our community deserves.

Congratulations to Tully Meyer and Rob Erwin on their victories tonight as well. I truly believe Coryell County has an opportunity to move forward with leaders who may come from different backgrounds and experiences, but share the same goal: serving the people and planning for the long-term future of our county.

The election may be over, but the work is just beginning. I promise to continue listening, learning, and working hard every single day for ALL of Coryell County.

No matter who you supported, I want to be a Commissioner who leads with transparency, respect, and common sense.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for believing in me. Let’s get to work.
