That's why we're excited to show you all the NEW BOOKS we just got! ✨📚 If you don't see a specific title you're hunting for, make sure to come down to the library and put in your book request! We're always looking for suggestions for books to add to our collection so we have something for everybody!

Hear Ye'! Hear Ye'! We had an incredible time at this year's Renaissance Faire, and we have all of you to thank for that! More than 900 people attended, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of your support.

We want to thank all our performers for the amazing entertainment they provided! LampLight Theatre's Chloe Suarez and Tim Baldwin delighted our ears with their lovely violin and guitar melodies. Mountain Misfits and their puppet performance of "Everyman" was truly moving and thought-provoking. Natural Tunnel State Park's furs and pelts and Bays Mountain Park's Reptile Program educated us with some fascinating facts about our wildlife and reptiles. And of course, Everblade Academy wowed all of us as they crossed blades in a battle for the ages!

Thank you to all the vendors who provided the event with all manner of food, art, and wares, leaving us with full stomachs and wonderful keepsakes.

We thank Ballad Health for sponsoring us, whose generous support made our vision a reality. And thank you to MEOC, who provided us with some much-needed transportation.

And last but not least, we would like to thank all of you who came to the Renaissance Faire! All of your support and enthusiasm pushed us to make this event as fun and exciting as possible, and having you all there with us made it so special. We loved seeing everyone dressed up and in character, and we especially want to give a shoutout to our Costume Contest Winners: Daisy Scarberry, Eryc Nayagam, and Kaleb Richardson.

We can't wait to see you all again next year, and many of our vendors will be returning for the next Renaissance Faire. We have received so much great feedback, and we will be taking it into consideration as we plan for next year!

For overflow parking, located at Gate City United Methodist and Spring Church, MEOC will provide shuttle service to the event. Let your horse rest their hooves, and MEOC will take care of the rest!😉
