We had another busy yet fulfilling week at the Webb! Holly and I can tell that our students are getting back into the groove with school schedules, routines, and expectations. Thank you for all the support you provide at home to help our students have a successful transition back to school. We appreciate you being such an important part of the Webb Street family! 💙

📚 No School Tomorrow – Labor Day
Just a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We hope you enjoy a relaxing and well-deserved day with your families!

🚗 Car Line Update
Please remain in the order in which you arrive in the car line until a staff member or the officer directs you to pull around another vehicle. Our biggest priority is keeping everyone safe, especially our students as they move from the sidewalk to their vehicles.

If you need your student to come out sooner, please park your vehicle and come to the front door. We will get your student to you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to keep our car line safe and efficient for everyone!

Have a wonderful, relaxing holiday! We will see everyone on Tuesday, September 8, ready for another great day of learning, growing, and shining at the Webb! 🕷️💙

This is Principal Williams with your Sunday Message!

It was another great week at Webb Street! Our students in the Transition Program spent time outside preparing our raised beds, sensory garden, and other shared spaces for fall planting. 🌱🥕🌻 We can’t wait to watch everything grow and to share pictures of the beautiful flowers and vegetables with you!

Our students are settling back into their school routines, and things are running smoothly throughout the building. We are so proud of how well our students and staff are adjusting to the new school year!

A few important reminders as we head into the week:

🩵 Please keep students home if they are experiencing any of the following:

Fever of 100.4°F or higher
Vomiting
Diarrhea

Students may return to school once they have been symptom-free for 24 hours.

Good evening, Spiders! 🕷️💙

I hope everyone had a restful weekend after our return to school last Wednesday! It was so wonderful to have our students back in the building and to see their smiling faces. They truly make Webb Street a special place!

As we begin another great week, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our bus staff, families, and students for your patience, understanding, and grace as we worked through transportation schedules last week. We made some significant changes to our bus routes this year, and we know that adjustments can come with a few challenges. Our drivers and monitors are working hard each day to make sure every student gets home safely and as quickly as possible.

If you have questions or concerns regarding transportation, please don't hesitate to contact the school. We are always happy to help!

We will also continue accepting donations throughout the school year for our One Can Make a Difference Food Pantry. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference for our Webb Street families. 💙

Most importantly, remember that we are a team! When families, students, teachers, support staff, transportation staff, and administrators work together, we create the best possible opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed. We may have a few bumps along the way, but when we work together and keep our students at the center of everything we do, there is nothing our Spider family can't accomplish!

🕷️💙 TOMORROW IS GAME DAY! 💙🕷️

The wait is finally over… tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for our Webb Street students! 🎉 We are SO excited to welcome our students back and begin another incredible year together!

A few important reminders for our families:

🚗 Car Riders: Arrival begins at 7:30 AM.
🏠 Dismissal: Students will dismiss at 2:15 PM.

🚌 Bus Families: We appreciate your patience and understanding as our drivers work through the first day of routes. There may be some delays as everyone gets settled into their new routes and routines. Our drivers are taking their time and being intentional to ensure the highest level of safety for every student. Safety will always come first! 💙

If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call the school. We are here to help!

Tomorrow begins a brand-new season, and we couldn't be more excited! 🌟 There may be a few first-day bumps along the way, but we know that when we work together, communicate, and support one another, we can make it a GREAT year.

It truly takes ALL of us to make a winning team for our students! 🏆🕷️

Hello, this is Principal Williams, with a friendly reminder that our Open House is tomorrow evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome you and your student as we kick off another great school year! During Open House, you'll have the opportunity to:

Meet your child's teacher.
Meet your child's bus driver and monitor.
Tour the school.
Learn about our programs and services.
Join our PTO and connect with other Webb Street families.

If you are able, we would also appreciate donations for our One Can Make a Difference Food Pantry. Suggested items include canned vegetables, canned fruit, pasta, rice, tuna, peanut butter, ramen noodles, and other nonperishable food items. Every donation helps support families in our school community.

Another bountiful harvest from the garden today. We also gathered a beautiful basket full of flowers!
- zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, sugar snap peas, cucumbers, green peppers, and a few orange and red cherry tomatoes.
Oh I almost forgot we harvested close to 60 lbs of lettuce!!
