Gaston Together: Communities of Excellence

Gaston Together: Communities of Excellence We believe in the talents and resources of our citizens. We believe that making continuous improvement a standard is important in creating our future.

Gaston Together unites people and organizations to address complex needs and issues in Gaston County by bringing resources and people together to collaborate, facilitate, and promote our potential. Focusing on the common good, we will provide the opportunities, the tools and the participation of citizens in creating our future. We believe that only by addressing their root causes rather than their

symptoms can we eliminate problems. What is continuous process improvement?
* Quality business model (Plan, do, check, act, repeat)
*Systemic vs. Silo Thinking
*Views the community as a whole with interrelated parts
*Understands inter-dependencies of the community
*Values partnerships.

The Hub Situation Table training was a success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2-day training. Participants learned about the Hub Situation Table and how it brings community partners together to address community members' acute needs.

Thank you to Cordata Pillar, formerly O2SL & QRT National, for leading the training and working with Gaston Together to form Gaston County's first Hub Situation Table. We are excited to see community partners and organizations working together to make sure community members receive the support and resources they need.
