🚨 IMPORTANT SNAP REPLACEMENT BENEFIT DEADLINE — AUGUST 31
Calumet Township is sharing this information as a public service for residents who may have been impacted by the August severe storms, flooding, and extended power outages.
Households currently receiving SNAP benefits who lost food because of storm damage, flooding, or a power outage may be eligible to request replacement SNAP benefits through the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA).
The deadline to submit the required affidavit is Monday, August 31, 2026.
Residents may submit the affidavit directly to FSSA by:
• Uploading it through the FSSA Benefits Portal:

• Faxing it to 888-436-9199
• Delivering it to a Division of Family Resources (DFR) office
The loss must be verified by FSSA.
