📣 HELP US GET THE WORD OUT!
Know a farmer who could benefit from funding? A lake community working on a conservation project? A municipality with a project in the works? An elected official, school, nonprofit or community organization that should know about this opportunity?
Tag them below and share this post! 🌱
The more people who know about these resources, the more we can put this funding to work protecting Putnam County’s land, water and natural resources.
🌱 WE’RE BACK AND WE’RE PUTTING CONSERVATION TO WORK! 🌱
The Putnam County Soil & Water Conservation District is excited to announce the launch of our first Conservation Grant Program, with $180,000 in funding available for conservation projects across Putnam County.
A lot of work has gone into rebuilding our District, restoring its independence, strengthening its operations and creating a greater impact for the people and natural resources of Putnam County.
Today, we’re putting that work into action.

This is more than the launch of a grant program. It represents what can happen when a local conservation district has the independence, resources and ability to do the job it was created to do.
We’re rebuilding. We’re investing. And we’re putting conservation dollars to work in Putnam County. 🌱
