This Saturday, the 30th of May is our LockBox for our neighbours Programme along with Community EMS District Village of Garrettsville Police Department, we will be at the Garrettsville Freedom Nelson Joint Fire District from 12-4. 🚨 SIREN TEST COMPLETE 🚨

The scheduled test has been completed, and the new tornado sirens purchased by the Village of Garrettsville are now officially in service.

These sirens are an important upgrade to our community warning system and are designed to alert people who are outdoors during severe weather and emergencies. They may not be heard inside homes or buildings.

We encourage everyone to have multiple ways to receive alerts, including weather radios and mobile notifications.

Thank you for your patience during testing as we continue working to keep our community safe.

Multiple rounds of showers and storms are possible today. The best window for severe storms is between roughly 3 PM and 10 PM. All severe weather hazards are possible including damaging wind gusts, large hail, or a tornado.
