Due to the ongoing Windham Street Water Main Replacement Project, the Water Department will be flushing hydrants next week. Flushing will take place during the day, and you may notice temporary discoloration or changes in water pressure. If you experience discoloration, please let the water run until it clears. Flushing will occur from Monday October 7th to Friday October 11th.

The Village of Garrettsville Water Dept. is in the process of changing out our older 3g meter system and upgrading to a new 4g meter system. The pictures below can help you determine which style meter you have. The picture with the digital readout and the word "Allegro" circled is an example of the new 4g system which means you don't need your meter replaced. If your meter has a red rotary dial and has the 3G circled that means your meter is eligible to be changed out at no cost to the customer.

The Village of Garrettsville will hold a Clean-up on Thursday, June 8th, 2023. Items to be disposed should be placed on your tree lawn. Two large appliances are permitted. Refrigerators and freezers must have the freon removed with the proper identification tags attached, in order to be removed. No batteries, tires, hazardous materials, yard waste or partially filled paint cans will be removed.

The Water Department will be doing their biannual flushing of the Village hydrants, through April 21st. Hydrants will be flushed randomly throughout the Village. You may notice a drop in your water pressure. The water is safe to drink although there may be discoloration. Please be sure to check your water for discoloration prior to doing any laundry. Any questions should be directed to Village Hall office at 330-527-4424.
