The Knicks are NBA Champions, and Raider Nation was ready to celebrate! From hallways and classrooms to front entrances and spirit wear, our schools were decked out in blue and orange as students and staff showed their New York pride.

Congratulations to the Knicks on an unforgettable championship run! The energy, excitement, and team spirit were on full display across North Rockland today. 🏀🗽

There are few moments more meaningful than celebrating the people who have dedicated their careers to serving our students, families, and community.

At the NRCSD Retirement Ceremony, we honored a remarkable group of educators and staff whose commitment, compassion, and hard work have helped shape generations of Red Raiders. Superintendent Dr. Kris Felicello expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their years of service and reflected on the lasting impact each retiree has made across our district.

While we are excited for them as they begin this well-earned new chapter, there is no denying that they will be deeply missed. Throughout the evening, each school proudly recognized its retirees as principals shared personal stories, accomplishments, and words of appreciation that highlighted the unique contributions of every honoree.

To our retirees: thank you for the countless lives you’ve touched, the lessons you’ve taught, the support you’ve provided, and the legacy you leave behind. North Rockland is stronger because of you, and you will always be a part of our Red Raider family.

After rocking the crowd at 's RockFest in May, student bands With Spears and Jet Lag are back for another live performance. Catch them Friday night at the Italian American Carnival, 65 Chapel St. in Garnerville, and support these talented young musicians as they bring their music to the community. 🎶🤘

Every author needs inspiration — and for these fifth graders, it came from a group of future kindergarteners. 📚After spending time earlier this year learning about the interests, hobbies and favorite things of students at the Learning Ladder Child Care Center in West Haverstraw, one of 's Universal Pre-K partners, Willow Grove fifth graders transformed those conversations into personalized illustrated storybooks. The young writers recently returned to share their finished creations with the very students who inspired them.

More than a reading lesson or writing project, the experience helped build connections between students at different stages of their educational journey. As these Pre-K students prepare to join our lower elementary schools this fall, the project offered a meaningful introduction to the larger community.
