On October 10th, from 2-9 pm, we will be hosting our traditional Wet Down celebration for 26-Ladder at 26-100 ( 99 west Ramapo road, Garnerville NY). There will be free food, drinks & live entertainment by bands Country Fresh & Ladies of the 80’s!

We will be selling Wetdown T shirts, available in black or white for $25. This purchase includes a 22oz mug and bag!

Any Fire Department that attends with a fire apparatus (excluding Chief vehicles) to soak down our new ladder truck will automatically qualify in a free raffle for a corn hole board set with bags.

You don’t want to miss this event! We hope to see you there!

26-ladder responded to its first call this evening, driven by the former Chief and the fourth lieutenant, Kenny Connolly. The crew consisted of Captain Tyler Milliken and the second lieutenant, Christopher Hughes.

Yesterday evening, Chief of Department Kahn held an in service ceremony for our new 26-Ladder. Ex Chief Connolly officially called the truck into service to 44-control and Ex Chief D. Coughlin completed the ceremony with the breaking of a champagne bottle symbolizing good luck to our new apparatus.

Thank you to the Fire District for hosting this event, and to the membership for your unwavering support and dedication in bringing this unit into service. We are proud to serve our community and the surrounding areas with the latest equipment for fire protection.

Please join us celebrate the delivery of our new ladder truck on 10/10/2026 located at 26-100 from 2-9 pm.

There will be live bands, raffles, games, free food, drinks and more!
