Our biggest asset in Knott County is our students. Being a teacher to them is an important job. In order to be a good teacher, they need a great support system. Starting with the principal and extending to the Board of Education. It takes a team to pull it off. Every person that works at the Board is critical in their job. Dana works well with each and every one of them. Let’s not lose focus that the Most important thing is the education of the students.

Please get out and support youth sports in Knott County. These kids invest a lot of time and energy to entertain us. Both boys and girls sports are great entertainment for the whole family. Remember that all Knott County students get into regular season games free thanks to Dana and her fellow board members. Just one way they want to say that they appreciate the kids in our district.

Remember Folks, in order to vote for the Board Members Race you must individually select the candidate that you want to vote for. This is a non-partisan race, so choosing to select straight Republican or straight Democrat won’t cast a vote for this. Only clicking on candidate #2 will vote for Dana. Good morning Knott County. As the new school year begins, I want to personally welcome every student back. I hope this new beginning is the start of the best year ever. It is the goal of the Knott County School Board and every board member to make sure every student is given a safe and friendly environment to be part of. As August begins, Dana will be out talking to a lot of you about her vision for the future of Knott County Schools. She will always be dedicated to the safety and advancement of the students in the district. Her experience and record will always be the keys to her campaign.
