Hello Everyone, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who attended the event in support of The Freddie Porter Memorial Scholarship Fund and honored our Women of the Year, Ms. Dora D’Amico, principal of Garfield High School, and Lieutenant Claire Follari of the Garfield Police Department. Today would have marked his thirty-eighth birthday, and nineteen years have elapsed in what seems like a fleeting moment. I profoundly miss his bright smile, warm hugs, and humorous jokes.
