Cuyahoga Recycles

Cuyahoga Recycles (aka. Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District)
We educate, empower and enable people across Cuyahoga County, Ohio to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Cuyahoga Recycles is the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District. We are the public agency helping the people of Cuyahoga County to reduce, reuse and recycle at home, at work and in our communities. We are the leading resource in Cuyahoga County for information, expertise and programs that support sustainable materials management and reduce the environmental impact of waste. Our work empowers residen

ts, communities and organizations to manage their waste responsibly by reducing, reusing, recycling and composting. We support this by:

Educating individuals on why and how to recycle, compost and reduce waste for the benefit of future generations

Providing expertise to businesses and institutions seeking to implement economical and sustainable waste reduction programs

Partnering with communities to improve and expand residential recycling opportunities

Collaborating with other sustainability leaders to conserve natural resources, reduce reliance on landfills and support local job creation through recycling

Our vision is for Cuyahoga County to be a national leader in the movement toward a world without waste.
