We are working a new website which we hope will help unrepresented litigants understand more about court proceedings. We will have a virtual assistant and on-line forms to aid in the filing of small claims, evictions, collection of judgments and driving privileges. Check out ghmc.org after May 2, 2016.

On Monday, May 9, 2017 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, the Court will be open for persons with unpaid fines and costs and/or warrants to appear in court to resolve their matters. Each person should bring $250.00 to obtain the release of any warrant blocks and license forfeitures and get additional time to pay.

Fresh Start begins again. From now through April, appear any Wednesday at 8:00 am to clear up warrants and other blocks on your driver's license

Fresh Start ends September 16, 2015. If you have unpaid fines and costs, you may avoid arrest and obtain a release of warrant blocks or license forfeitures by appearing at 8:00 am on September 9 or 16, 2015; paying $100.00; and entering into a payment plan. Don't miss this opportunity to avoid arrest and clear up your driver's license.

On September 26, 2015, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Garfield Heights Public Library, we will have volunteer attorneys and law students from CSU Law School present to assist people with suspended driver's licenses. We will be able to access your BMV record and give you a print out of your reinstatement requirements. First come first served.
