Swine & Stein Road Closure information

The 1 way portion of Water St. will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6 a.m. to approximately 8 p.m. for Swine and Stein on Saturday, October 12th. As you are driving through the area, please be extra careful as there will be a lot of pedestrians coming from and going to the event.

**Attention travelers of Water St**

The stop and go lights at the intersection of Water St. and Church St. are on and they are blinking RED. Nothing has changed, it is still a 4 WAY STOP. This is in anticipation of the upcoming Main Ave bridge replacement.

Here is a friendly parking reminder to all of those who visit, live or work in and around Water St. There is a 2 hr parking limit (0830am - 6pm) on Water St.. That means you CAN NOT be in the same parking space for more than 2 hours in a row, nor can you shuffle your vehicle, 1 spot up or 1 spot back from your original spot. The 2 hour time limit is applicable to everyone, business owners, patrons, construction workers, engineers, etc. Gardiner PD will be conducting enforcement. Unlimited, daily parking can occur in the Arcade Parking Lot. (located in between the buildings and Cobbossee Stream) Please comply and please share. Gardiner City Code Section 2611, pg 128.

**City Building Closures**

The Gardiner Public Library will be CLOSED on Monday, September 30th so that staff may attend the Maine Libraries Conference. The library will open for regular hours on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

Gardiner City Hall will be CLOSED on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 for staff training. City Hall will open for regular hours on Thursday, October 3, 2019.
