We are reaching out to anyone with information or video footage of our most recent break in that occurred Wednesday evening (May 21) at the tan water tower site on Goldenrod. The fence has been breached and a substantial amount of diesel has been stolen. A battery and other items have also been stolen recently. If you have any video or information please call Ector County Sheriff's Office at 432-335-3050 or Greater Gardendale Water Supply Corporation at 432-561-9255. We would appreciate any and all information to help catch these thieves.

As many of you are aware of we are getting new meters installed. The contractors are starting from East to West and are working 7 days a week to get them installed. As a result, there may be a brief interruption in water service during the meter replacement. (Typically less than 30 minutes). Installation of new meters will address outdated infrastructure and modernize the city's meter reading system, including a new portal that will give residents detailed time-based water usage data and leak detection alerts. These new meters will help improve Customer Service and better accuracy of your water bill. Please be patient during this transition. The new meter boxes will be slightly above ground to keep from being ran over by lawn equipment. GGWSC, apologizes for any inconveniences the water outage this afternoon/evening has caused. A connection at the pump station did not go as well planned at the pump station. Typically we can isolate certain areas and often the majority or none of the system is affected. We are working with the contractor to fix the problem as soon as possible.
