This page is dedicated to the trailer park begun by my grandfather, Verl Benjamin "Mack" McCafferty, and the many people who lived there. I hope to collect stories and photos of this now-gone community and to reconnect people who lived or visited there.
My parents, Carol and Michael McCafferty, owned and managed the park after grampa died in 1972, until it was sold to make way for Albertoni Street, where 182nd Street used to dead-end.
I have wonderful memories of the community my family built. I lived there from the day I was born in 1962 until the day the park closed when I was 16.
