Public Works would like to remind residents that trash collection will be delayed by one day all week due to the Memorial Day holiday.

There will be no trash pickup on Monday, May 25. Collection services will resume on Tuesday and continue one day behind the normal schedule through the remainder of the week.

🚧 Summer Road Projects Update! 🚧
We are excited to announce that many ongoing road projects are happening this summer, thanks to the voters of Garden City who approved the Road Millage. These improvements will greatly enhance our community's infrastructure and ensure safer, smoother travels for everyone.

No Parking Signs will be picked up Monday morning. Public Service Day parking restrictions are lifted.

STREET SWEEPING IS COMPLETE IN THE GREEN SECTION. FRIDAY, MAY 1st, THEY WILL MOVE ON TO THE PURPLE SECTION.

If you live in the PURPLE section, 𝐃𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐓 between the hours of 7am and 8pm on the day of your street sweeping.

During street sweeping, a Public Service Day will be declared, and on-street parking will be prohibited to allow crews to safely and efficiently clean the roadway. Watch for Yard Signs in your neighborhood that signal when your streets are to be swept.
Garden City has 100 miles of roads so the contractor's schedule will be affected by weather and their progress. Signs will be posted in your neighborhood when your streets are to be swept. Pending weather, street sweeping will be done in your section of town the day following your regularly scheduled trash pickup date.
