Family Crisis Services, Inc would like to reassure our communities that the Federal Government Shutdown does not affect our operations at this time. We will be continuing to work with victims and survivors to provide advocacy support and help them with critical services and resources. We understand that the shutdown can impact allies who also serve survivors, and we are working with them to navigate these challenges. The critical services provided by our advocates are still available and have not yet been disrupted.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we take this moment to highlight that the service providers in Kansas serve victims/survivors in circumstances where funding is often far too fragile and continues to be less than the need. If you can help, please reach out to your local programs. Together we will weather this.”

Barreling Hope: A Unique Way to Support Survivors

Family Crisis Services is excited to introduce a fun, impactful initiative: Barreling Hope! Here’s how it works: We place a decorated barrel in your yard, and you get to pay to have it removed. Think of it as a lighthearted way to make a serious difference.

All proceeds from Barreling Hope go directly to supporting victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault in our community. Your contribution helps us provide crucial services such as safe shelter, counseling, advocacy, and prevention education.

Join us in turning a playful prank into powerful support. Contact us today to learn how you can participate in Barreling Hope and help us bring safety, healing, and hope to those who need it most. Together, we can make a difference!
