This morning’s NYISO reality check: wind & solar account for just 5% of New York’s generation.

We need a full mix of energy sources to keep the lights on — and natural gas is a proven, reliable resource that makes it possible.

Climate activists would pull the plug on our most dependable power sources if they could. And leave the entire state in the dark.

Assembly Republicans believe you deserve more as part of our LOWER Plan to provide financial relief from utility bills.

But rebate checks are only a start, not a solution. NY needs a comprehensive approach to permanently protect the reliability & affordability of NY’s energy needs.

Affordability has gone out the window for NY families. Rising costs for utilities, housing & taxes have made the prospect of just getting by untenable. Albany’s tax-&-spend Democrats have no answers.

The New York Assembly Republican Conference has a plan to reverse course & provide overdue financial relief for hardworking NYers.

The workforce New York needs for tomorrow is not built in a job interview. It’s built years earlier, in a classroom, when a struggling student gets the support they need.

Grateful to have the endorsement of the Civil Service Employees Association, our state’s largest public‑sector union, which represents more than 55,000 NYS employees.

I’m going to keep fighting for the working men and women who deliver vital public services in our hospitals, transportation systems, sanitation departments, public works, schools, child care programs, emergency services, and much more

Behind every Purple Heart Award is a story of courage, sacrifice & resilience.

National Purple Heart Day is a moment for us all to recognize the bravery of the men & women of America’s armed forces, especially our wounded warriors & fallen heroes.

We had a great turnout at today’s Veterans Picnic, an event I look forward to every year just as much as our veterans.

I was proud to be joined by Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell’s office, the Northport VA and the Nassau County Veterans Service Agency as we spoke with more than 125 veterans and answered questions about the benefits and services they’re entitled to.

It’s always an honor to spend this time with the men and women who served.

I understand the importance of blood donation, particularly in the more demanding summer months, as I have regularly partnered with the New York Blood Center to host blood drives.

If you qualify as a donor, I encourage everyone to consider giving the gift of life this summer.

Long Island has had a 3% drop in blood donations since last July.
