For many older adults, access to consistent, nutritious meals can become a daily challenge, especially when mobility or health limits their ability to shop and cook.

EAC Network’s Meals on Wheels steps in to meet that need by delivering balanced meals directly to seniors’ homes while also providing a moment of human connection. Beyond food, these visits offer reassurance, safety checks, and a friendly face that helps reduce isolation and strengthen community care.

This program plays a critical role in helping seniors maintain dignity and stability in their everyday lives. Visit https://eac-network.org/meals-wheels-seniors/ to learn how you can support Meals on Wheels and help sustain this vital lifeline for older adults.

🚨 3 out of 4 car seats are used incorrectly. That’s not just a number; that’s a risk we can’t afford to ignore.

On June 3, 2026, EAC Network is teaming up with the Suffolk County Police Department for a free car seat inspection and installation event as part of our Safe Start program, an initiative dedicated to protecting our youngest passengers by giving parents the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need.

Every properly installed car seat is a step toward a safer future. Join us at the Humpty Dumpty Nursery School in Greenlawn, NY and take that step with us. Certified technicians will be on-site to ensure your child's seat is safe, secure, and up to standard.

This isn't just an event. It could be a life-saving opportunity.

📞 Appointments are required. Call 631-648-7100 x210 to reserve your spot.

Because of you, older adults in our communities receive the care they need. Thank you for all that you do to make this mission possible!

EAC Network Board Member John Durso was recently a featured speaker at Westbury High School’s “High School Talk” program in partnership with Espoir Youth Programs, Inc!

During the session, John spoke with students about his career journey, the lessons he learned along the way, and the important role mediation and conflict resolution can play in strengthening communities. The event also gave students who previously completed LIDRC’s Peer Mediation Training the opportunity to connect classroom skills to real-world leadership and career pathways.

We’re extremely grateful for the media coverage highlighting the ribbon cutting of EAC Network’s Nassau County Child Advocacy Center, including News 12, PIX11, the Long Island Times, and more! This milestone represents hope, healing, and a stronger safety net for children across Long Island.

Through our Nassau and Suffolk County Child Advocacy Centers, we remain committed to protecting and advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Every month is Child Abuse Prevention Month at EAC Network, and your continued support helps ensure no child faces their journey alone.
