Big Brothers Big Sisters of Finney & Kearny Counties is offering a FREE Summer Playground Program at Victor Ornelas Elementary School at 3401 E Spruce St, Garden City. Starting June 1th, the Playground program will meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. Instructors will be at VO to lead daily programs for the youth. Each day there will be different games, arts/crafts, robotics, reading, speakers and more! The Program may be cancelled during inclement weather. The Playground Program is for children who have completed Kindergarten to 13 years of age and is FREE. FREE breakfast and lunch included each day. There are no income requirements and all children 5 to 13 are welcome! Program runs until July 23th. No Program the week of July 4th.

Congratulations to former Big Sister Jerica!! We are so excited for you!

We are excited to welcome Jerica to the OT team in St. Croix for a 1-year adventure with us! With a doctorate in occupational therapy from University of Kansas, she brings experience in school-based and home health services and a passion for serving children and families! She will be diving in TODAY, starting alongside Kathi! Jerica will be working with children in our clinic and at Tropical Behavioral Services; in the fall you'll see her in some of the local private schools.

🚒🚑 Big Brothers Big Sisters Summer Playground Field Trip!! 🚒🚑

On Monday, June 8th, our Big Brothers Big Sisters Playground Program will be taking a short walking field trip to the new Fire Station/EMS building.
• We will leave Victor Ornelas at 9:40 a.m.
• We will return at approximately 11:00 a.m.
• Please make sure your child wears comfortable walking shoes.
• Pick-up time will remain 11:30 a.m.as usual.
We are excited for this opportunity to learn more about our local firefighters and EMS personnel!
