The GCCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all who live in Garden City, Michigan, particularly for youth by reducing community risk factors and promoting healthy lifestyle choices. We are a grassroots organization mobilizing all sectors of the community to improve health, safety and the quality of life for all who live in Garden City, Michigan by promoting

lifestyles...

- Free from underage alcohol and tobacco use.

- Free from the misuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs across the lifespan.

- That cultivate abstinence and recovery supports for those misusing alcohol, tobacco or other drugs and their families.

- That embrace the integration of proven prevention practices into the community environment through education, activism and advocacy. The Garden City Community Coalition has been incorporated as a Non- Profit in the State of Michigan since 1997 and in 1999 became exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to this organization are deductible and the GCCC is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, transfers, and gifts. The Garden City Community Coalition is licensed by the MI Dept. of Community Health-Bureau of Health Systems Substance Abuse Program.
