Kenny was raised in Galway on his parents' dairy farm; he is a true native with his roots deeply planted here. Raised and taught from a very early age the meaning of hard work; anyone who ever sees him out and about knows he's always on the go! A 1978 graduate of Galway High School, he went on to the construction field briefly before returning to the dairy industry, where he managed and oversaw al
l aspects of a 65 herd dairy operation. In 1984, as his family was growing he returned to the construction business, where he remains to this day. Over the years, his main focus has been and continues to be Heavy Highway Construction; with a concentration in blacktop as well as pipe laying for local and some out-of-state municipalities. he also has a heavy focus on municipal water and sewer main installations. Thereafter, finishing up with all aspects of road construction: grades, drainage, crowns, sub base, and blacktop. His supervisory positions have helped him lead a crew of up to 10 operators out in the field, as well as having heavy equipment mechanical background and skills. Ken is a STATE certified Equipment Operator with over 6000 hours logged in with New York State's Apprentice Training Program. He also holds New York State certificates for following accredited programs:
