40 Years of Service
As the Galway Lions Club prepares to enter the new world of “Post-Corona” and continue with our 41st year, we are eager to continue with our Service to the community of Galway and the Galway School District. We last saw many of our community friends at our Breakfast at Bob’s Trees on March 7 where we all, without knowing it, said goodbye to normalcy for what is quickly become a full two months.
Our activities for the next six months are, as you can imagine, are up in the air at this point but please be sure to let us know if you need our help NOW. We have established a community help line where a Galway Lion will be available to see if we can help you or point you in the right direction. OUR COMMUNITY HELP LINE IS -- 518-461-3058
As we hope to start our activities in early summer, we pause to thank our District Governor Ed Pike (a two time Galway King Lion) for his efforts over this year which has turned into one which will never be forgotten; only partially for the virus and much for DG Ed’s efforts along with his wife Linda, (pictured above) his partner in service.
