A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the Grand Re-Opening of the R**e Crisis Center! Your presence made this milestone even more meaningful, and we are truly grateful for the incredible support shown by our community.

A special Thank You to our dedicated community partners, Mayor Marc DePauli and City Councilors, District Attorney's office, McKinley County Sheriff's Office, New Mexico State Police, Navajo Police Department, FBI, Battered Families Services, Inc., UNHS Advocacy Program, McKinley County DWI Program, Gallup Community Health, First Nations Community Healthsource, Gallup Indian Medical Center, Ft. Defiance Family Advocacy Center, Bookkeeping by the Numbers, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico-McKinley/Apache Counties, Four Corners Detox, NMCSAP & etc... And all of our supporters who continue to stand with survivors and help strengthen the services we provide.

This celebration was more than the reopening of a building—it was a reminder of what we can accomplish when our community comes together with compassion, commitment, and a shared vision of hope and healing. Thank you for being part of this important day. We look forward to continuing this work together to support survivors and build a safer, stronger community for all. 💜

We recognize the vital collaboration between SASNWNM, UNHS victim advocacy center, dispatch personnel, and law enforcement agencies in supporting survivors of sexual violence and victim-based crimes. From the very first 911 call to advocacy, investigation, and ongoing support services, each role is essential in ensuring survivors are treated with compassion, dignity, and care.

We extend our sincere appreciation to dispatchers, advocates, counselors, officers, investigators, and community partners who work tirelessly every day to respond with professionalism, empathy, and a survivor-centered approach. Your teamwork helps create safer communities and provides hope and support during some of the most difficult moments in a person’s life.

We’re grateful for the workshops, inspiring keynote speakers, and the recognition of those working to support survivors and keep our communities safe.
